Non-Medical Recovery Assistance
Recovering from surgery or a health event is stressful — for the person healing and for the family watching from a distance. Our non-medical recovery support gives everyone peace of mind. We're not nurses, and we don't provide hands-on medical care, but we show up, we stay present, and we make sure your loved one is never alone when they need someone close by.
- Overnight and extended stays during post-surgical recovery
- Medication reminders — we remind, we don't administer
- Standby shower assistance — present for safety, ready to call for help if needed
- Monitoring comfort and alertness after procedures
- Coordinating with family and contacting emergency services if a concern arises
- Light meal preparation and hydration reminders during recovery
A note about our non-medical services
Amy's Helpers provides non-medical support only. We are not licensed nurses or medical professionals. Our recovery assistance is designed to provide presence, safety monitoring, and practical help — and to contact the appropriate medical professionals immediately if a situation requires it. Our care providers are trained and certified in CPR within a month of being hired, but are not nurses or CNAs.
